During the first lockdown, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 melanoma. I decided to put a project together that engaged the whole voiceover community. I split Alice in Wonderland down into 159 one minute sesctions and asked the community to record a minute and donate to the NHS. Because of the time we were in, no one was working. So many wonderful voices took part.
Comedy heroes Michael Palin (Monty Python) and Griff Rhys Jones, Ruth Jones, creator of Gavin and Stacey. A host of wonderful actors, Dame Harriet Walter, Juliet Stevenson, Henry Goodman, Phyllis Logan (Downton Abbey), Kevin McNally (Pirates of the Carribean) Patricia Hodge (Miranda) our very own John Challis (Boycie from Only Fools) and Christopher Biggins (winner of I'm a Celebrity). Plus a host of wonderful professional storytellers.

performing a minute each for Cancer Research UK
So it feels like the time is right to launch Wonderland Challenge 2: Alice Through The Looking Glass this time in aid of Cancer Research. So I split the book down into 175 one minute chunks this time and again put this out to the voiceover community. As well as recording their minute, I asked each voice actor to donate at least £10 to Cancer Research UK. Well, I'm thrilled to say that I filled all the slots within days and you can see the amazing current total above.
I have now spent many days editing all the pieces together and it's sounding fabulous.
So here is the complete book for your delectation and delight. The book is also available on all good podcast platforms here: linktr.ee/bradshawvoice
"Brad was fantastic to work with - super-efficient and a genuinely lovely guy who had a brilliantly positive approach from start to finish. I hope to work with Brad again very soon and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him."
Susie Sefton - VoiceOver Artist
So cut forward to 2023 and I'd been through a procedure for prostate cancer as well as an axillary dissection when the melanoma returned. So I did it again, this time with Alice Through The Looking Glass for Cancer Research UK.
